Flashes of the past struck across the heavily pregnant female's mind. Wobbling with heavy steps, she focused on the hot feeling in her stomach, the life wiggling and hitting against her heaving lungs. To her, it was a sign to keep moving and refuse to stop. Splash swallowed the growing pain in her throat and slinked against the heavy storm, looking back and watching as the silver lights that were once her home fade.

Mothpaw's origins. Splash was once a loner, who was like a clan in their own. Their clan was more of a breeding facility, only having perfect genes. However, Splash fell in love and had kits with another loner who had a disfigured jaw. The other clan mates were disgusted and banished her into the storm. If one cat was tainted, then everything about them should die.
